Kombinacja has shown enough in three starts this term in novice-company to suggest that he is well enough treated for his debut in a handicap and is preferred to Lightin' Jack and Bob The Builder. The selection may have found the ground too quick at Perth when last seen in July and looks worth a chance of a favourable mark in comparison to his hurdles rating. Lucky Sinna has been given a chance by the handicapper and the booking of Timmy Murphy takes the eye, while Half Inch could do with being dropped a few pounds judged by his latest starts in this grade. Robert Alner's Optimism has a nice racing weight, while Bob The Builder hails from the yard of Nigel Twiston-Davies that is capable of readying one first time out and has to be respected. Emma Lavelle's Lightin' Jack showed improved form on his return from a break at Fontwell last month and is another to consider but Kombinacja holds solid claims and he gets the vote.
