Verdict

ROYAL DIAMOND may not have won over a longer trip on his hurdling debut here four weeks ago had he stayed on his feet but would have gone very close. Providing that tumble hasn't left a mental scar, Jonjo O'Neill's charge can gain compensation today. Newcomer Tribal Myth could be interesting as he won twice over 1m2f at Beverley in the spring, while Dineur is most consistent though has a penalty to carry for his win at Bangor in May. Cry Of Freedom was well regarded on the Flat as a juvenile but his career has nose-dived since.
