In depth

Verdict

Mud Monkey ran well in defeat behind Inside Dealer at Hereford at the beginning of the month but has harshly been raised 5lb since then so may have to settle for minor honours behind RED ROUBLE, who gets the vote to give Nigel Twiston-Davies another winner. The selection won over hurdles at Towcester last month and made a pleasing debut over fences at the same venue subsequently so he looks worth siding with on the likelihood that there is more improvement to come from him. Gary Moore's Psi was well held at Fontwell last time and of more interest may be Kikos, who is surely better than he showed at Stratford last month. Noble Bily could be of interest on his reappearance but may just be a shade high in the handicap at present.
