In depth

Verdict

Nicky Henderson has an outstanding record in bumpers and also does very well at this track. However, the champion trainer potentially makes things tricky for punters by firing two darts at the board. The market should signpost stable expectations but we'll take a chance on FULL BORE to make a successful start to life. He is certainly bred to do the job as a son of Milan. Stable companion Knighthood enjoyed a solid introduction at Newbury in mid-January and can be expected to improve on his mid-division finish. Presumably connections have been awaiting the better ground. Storm Goddess showed enough on her Ludlow debut to be of interest whilst Westbury makes most appeal of the other newcomers on paper other than the selection.
