      Verdict

The Don Cantillon-trained Be Fair is held in some high regard and he is selected to round off the evening in good style with Mana-Mou Bay and Island Stream expected to give him the most to do. The five-year-old had rock solid form in bumpers to his name before making a respectable winning debut over hurdles here in May. He looks to be one to keep on the right side of for the time being and notes should be taken on him for later in the season. Mana-Mou Bay was a decent performer on the Flat before seeming to lose his way a little. However, he has taken well to the winter game and should provide the selection with a good test at this stage. The same sentiments apply to Sparkling Water, whose trainer is adept at pin-pointing the potential of horses of this nature. Island Stream should have benefited from his hurdles debut run and is another to consider
