Aidan O'Brien will fancy Alice Springs' chances of reversing earlier running with Illuminate. She was a length behind the latter when the Hannon filly finished runner-up over 6f in the Cheveley Park at Newmarket but has been more fortunate with today's draw. Both attempt the mile distance for the first time while Jeremy Noseda's Nemoralia never threatened the winner when second in a Grade 1 race at Belmont at the start of the month, though that experience should stand her in good stead for this.. Harmonize has leading claims on her Grade 3 win here last time but her defeat of Thrilled brings TIN TYPE GAL into the reckoning. Graham Motion's filly also beat the latter when landing the Grade 3 Miss Grillo at Belmont, a race that has produced three previous winners of this, and she could go close at a price. Catch A Glimpse is another with strong claims on her Grade 2 win at Woodbine.
