In depth

Verdict

Scarvagh Diamond, Standin Obligation and Brave Rebellion are three against the field in a competitive opener and the narrow vote is given to Scarvagh Diamond. The selection has won his last two races in good style and although rising in the weights he looks progressive and with his yard continuing ion good form he is taken to win again. Standin Obligation rates the main danger on his latest second behind Undeniable in a hurdle race he returns to chasing on a fair mark but consistency is not his strong point and at likely odds he is taken on. Brave Rebellion is another worthy of respect as he beat Truckers Lady in game fashion last time out. However this looks tougher and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Nirvana Swing is another that is in form and could improve for the step up in trip so he should be watched in the market. Of the others Crackadee is best when allowed to dominate and as he looks sure to be taken on he is opposed while Jimmy Bond has dropped to a handy mark and is another with place claims but for the winner we return to Scarvagh Diamond who is taken to make it three in a row.
