Verdict

DESERT CRY made a big leap forward on his third start over hurdles when routing the opposition at Sedgefield last time. Donald McCain's charge sprinted clear of his rivals in the home straight in the manner of a smart hurdler and looks ready for this step up to Graded company as does Storm Brig. The latter has supplemented two bumper wins with victories in both starts over hurdles and looks to have every chance judged on his recent defeat of subsequent winner Bunclody at Newcastle. Bogside had Priceless Art back in third when winning here recently and that pair are closely matched, while Moon Indigo is not out of it dropping back in trip.
