Verdict

QUOTICA DE POYANS made all to register both his hunter chase victories over 3m1f here. He came a cropper at Aintree in between those wins, but is normally a fluent jumper and looks set to continue his winning ways over this shorter trip. Spellchecker won a maiden chase at Sedgefield last March and went close in similar company to this at Musselburgh recently, while Joueur D' Estruval arrives on the back of a recent victory in a point-to-point and could figure. Viking Rebel could prove best of the remainder.
