Verdict

GO SILVER BULLET made a pleasing UK debut at Perth last time when finishing third and the grey can score for the first time since his bumper success at Roscommon three years ago. That was his first effort for almost five months at Perth and while concern exists with regard to his effectiveness on a soft surface, he is the one to beat with the majority of his rivals failing to show much of late. I'm Your Man has been kept on the go right throughout the last number of months and to his credit he has maintained a consistent level of form. The stiff finish at Carlisle seemed to find him out which was a surprise to a certain extent as he is proven over trips much further than two miles. He is versatile with regard to ground conditions. Gallant Nuit shaped like a non-stayer on his seasonal debut at Aintree over the extended three mile trip. Two and a half miles could turn out to be his optimum trip in time although today's testing conditions will work in his favour. Cromwell Court is worth monitoring with the future in mind and Go Silver Bullet is given the nod.
