Verdict

BIG BAD BEAR probably came up against a useful type in Prince Llywelyn at Wetherby and only gave best close home. He holds Enlighten on that run and can make it third-time lucky here ahead of a trio of James Ewart runners headed by course and distance third Fostered Phil and Newcastle third Foxey. Black Ebony is a very interesting newcomer as he’s a half-brother to six winners including the stable’s smart hurdler/chaser Attaglance.
