Verdict

Catleen has bits of form which entitle her to respect in this grade, while it would be no surprise to see Grandad Bill in the firing-line though he may struggle to get home under top weight. Lawgiver has won here in the past and Everaard won at Musselburgh in January before finishing fourth over this C&D earlier in the month, but has something to find with Leith Walk on that run. Auberge will strip fitter for last month's return to action at Wetherby but was some way adrift of TERENZIUM, who hasn't won for a long time over hurdles but is undoubtedly well handicapped as a result and will probably never get a better chance to end his losing run.
