In depth

Verdict

Andre Chenier,Mohawk Star and Romany Prince are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters with the confident vote given to Andre Chenier. The selection won well last time out when beating Aston Lad and although he has a penalty for that win he has plenty of scope for improvement and off what remains a fair mark he will be hard to beat. Mohawk Star rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Coming Again . However that was over a longer trip and this shorter distance may just find him out so he is passed over on this occasion. Romany Prince is another worthy of respect as he was only beaten 39lenghts behind Moulin Riche in a grade 2 affair last time out and this looks much easier so he should be noted in the market. Neidpath Castle was a one paced fifth behind Leading Man last time out and he may be best watched here as his future looks to lie over a longer trip. You Do The Math showed promise in two bumpers and is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut but he may just come on for the experience and for the winner we return to Andre Chenier.
