    Verdict

Rebellion gets the call here ahead of Ludovico and Porters. Porters battled well to win a falsely-run course-and-distance affair last Saturday and a three pounds ratings rise should not stop him from running well again. Ludovico looked impressive when winning last time and a ten-pounds rise might not be enough to find him out, so he is respected, but Bucharest's seasonal return was inauspicious. Rebellion should ensure that someone makes the pace here and, even though he got things his own way in front last time, a five-pounds rise for that win is not unreasonable and he can go well, hence his nomination as the selection. Creative Mind showed good promise at two but might be vulnerable first-time up today, and Memphis Man was nine lengths behind Ludovico at Southwell last time, although he is 13 pounds better off at today's weights. Once again, though, our vote stays with Rebellion.
