Verdict

James Doyle is an interesting booking for recent winner Lingfield winner Vice Marshal. A run at Wolverhampton three weeks ago will have blown away a few cobwebs from the unexposed Verstappen and he makes more appeal than stablemate Losingmyreligion, who hasn’t raced since winning a novice auction event over course and distance in November. Warsaan showed ability in four runs last term and should be placed to good effect this year but TROGON would not be winning out of turn and there was sufficient promise in his reappearance to suggest today might be the day for Mick Channon’s gelding.
