Verdict

CANDYFLOSS GIRL can come out on top in the opener although a case can also be made for both Point To Prove and Precious Coral. The selection was a winner last time out after finishing third previously over this course and distance in a race that has worked out well. She does have a penalty for that success and the draw is against her here but she is progressive and she is taken to win again. Point To Prove showed improved form last time out here when he chased home Seeking Dubai over this course and distance. A reproduction of that effort would give him a big chance but he is bred to be suited by further and he may be seen to better effect when he is upped in trip. Trainer Simon Callaghan won this race last year and he sends Precious Coral to post here. She finished behind our selection last time but this slightly longer trip should suit and she can't be ruled out with confidence. Boogie Waltzer has a good draw and the yard are shrewd so any support should be noted. But Candyfloss Girl is going the right way and she can win again.
