      In depth

      Verdict

In the finale, Go Amwell gets the nod over Composing and Capitalise. Stepped up to two miles for only the second time, Go Amwell won well at Goodwood last time. Having proven that he can go well on today's surface, he has to be given every chance in the Kempton finale. On his all-weather debut, Composing ran well when second over course and distance last time and rates as a big danger. Of the others, Tromp steps up markedly in trip but is weighted to win again if taking to it. Dubai Ace is on a fair mark and comes here fresher than most, while Watchmaker is another potential improver being upped in trip. Sun Lane has shown promise but disappointed on her all-weather debut last time but she races in eyeshields today, while Capitalise has form enough from around today's mark and cannot be ruled out. For the selection, though, we return to Go Amwell.
