The mare Synthe Davis rarely runs a bad race but is probably a few pounds too high at present. Foundation Man was only beaten a nose at Uttoxeter last month but is 7lb higher now while Upton Mead was raised the same amount after winning a low-key affair at Plumpton. LEMON'S GENT hasn't been seen since winning by four lengths at Uttoxeter in May but that was only his fourth start over fences and there should be more to come this season. He may just be good enough to make a winning return to action with none of the remainder arriving in top form.
