        Verdict

        MAAZEL would have finished closer to the winner when runner-up at Lingfield if getting a clear run at a crucial stage and may well go one better in this. Drop Kick Murphi wasn’t beaten far despite finishing only fourth at Chelmsford last time and can race off the same mark. He’s preferred to N Over J over today’s trip but Rajman won over 7f at Lingfield off today’s mark early in the year and can figure. Bird of Wonder makes his handicap debut and is one to note with an apprentice taking 7lb off his back.
