Conor Dore's Lastkingofscotland has run to a consistent level of form since winning a Folkestone seller in April but he has a tendency to find at least one too good and may do so again this evening with a better bet looking to be MIDNIGHT FANTASY, who is preferred to Mon Brav. Declan Carroll's colt has been running consistently well in recent starts on turf but is unproven on the Polytrack so may be best watched. Henry Candy's Felsham won his maiden here over the minimum trip in September but has struggled in handicaps since then and is likely to do so again and of more interest may be Requisite. Ian Wood's mare was good value for her win here last month and lost no caste in defeat on a return visit a week later so she has to be considered having been dropped 2lbs since that most recent start. John Best's Chat De La Burg is less exposed than his rivals after just three starts and is worthy of a mention but it is hard to get away from Rae Guest's Midnight Fantasy, who has a bit to find with Requisite on running at Yarmouth a month ago but she has improved since then and meets her old rival on much better terms.
