In depth

Verdict

BANDAMA will not be much of a price but he should be too good for the likes of Quince and Ghufa. The selection has been a little disappointing of late but he did win a competitive Newmarket handicap back in June and he is dropped into this grade for the first time. He really should have too much for his rivals and he is a confident pick. Quince is another eased in grade and he has won in claiming company in the past. This longer trip will suit and he looks the main danger to our pick. Ghufa was beaten over this course and distance in a claimer last time and although he has place prospects, it will be a surprise if he is good enough to win. Iffy is better than he showed here last time but on the back of that effort he is hard to fancy. A solid case can be made for Bandama and he gets the pick.
