In depth

Verdict

BAARS CAUSEWAY is the highest rated on official handicap marks with Joey Haynes' allowance further helping her cause. She was only beaten a short-head at this track last season and can open her account. Pastoral Witness went close at Yarmouth when last seen at the track but that was back in July. Misstemper made the frame at Southwell on her racecourse debut but Space Walker disappointed at Wolverhampton having run well here on his introduction. Mimi Luke was returned a beaten favourite over track and trip in February and finishing second is becoming a bit of a habit with her.
