        Verdict

        RAY OF JOY never recovered from a slow start at Wolverhampton last week but scored over track and trip before that. She's not the most reliable but gets another chance in this company. Catalinas Diamond has been well beaten over 7f either side of winning over today's trip at Lingfield. She finished just ahead of Chevise last time, though the latter is back on a winning mark and pops up at this level occasionally. Heartsong has been running well without success at Southwell and the lightly-raced Aeolian Blue may figure now handicapping for the first time.
