Verdict

MARMOOQ makes most appeal here and he gets the vote over Resentful Angel and The Grey One. It was a good effort last time from Marmooq who got his head in front at Lingfield last month when he beat Chanrossa. That was his first run over 1m2f but he saw it out well and there may be a little more to come from him over this trip. Resentful Angel and The Grey One were separated by less than a length at Wolverhampton last Friday and with The Grey One a 1lbs better off at the weights today, there should be little between them again. The draw would be a slight negative for Lilac Moon but she did go close here on her only previous try at this venue. New World Order's last win came over this course and distance but he has since been a bit disappointing and his overall strike-rate on the all-weather means he can't be a confident choice. Squad is a consistent sort on the turf but he has yet to even be placed in three starts on the all-weather. We will therefore stick with Marmooq as our choice to lead them home.
