In depth

Verdict

THINGER LICHT (NAP) was possibly a bit unlucky not to win under a penalty over 3m at Warwick on Saturday. Dan Skelton is clearly keen to take advantage of his charge's current lenient mark and the drop back to 2m4f will suit this free-running sort. Forresters Folly can be hard to catch right but has ability and was beaten under a length over course and distance last month. He makes more appeal than penalised recent Fakenham winner Alright Benny off the same mark. Lord Lir is often placed but still hasn't won under Rules.
