Verdict

A weak maiden and Kitto Katsu, who made a pleasing debut, can come good at the second time of asking, with The Dagger looking best of the rest. The selection comes from a yard not known for having them ready to win first time, so her debut effort, when she was bang there with every chance until just being done for fitness close home, was very encouraging. With experience in the locker now and improvement for that she can score. The Dagger drops back in trip from 11f and on pedigree that should be a plus. He was comfortably beaten when returning from a long break last time and can come on for that now and go well. Northstar Express has shown nothing yet to make him backable, Miss Marauder should be better over further, Coco L'Escargot has plenty to prove having being switched to this stuff from bumpers, and the others look no great shakes, so we'll take Kitto Katsu to score.
