An open looking contest where there are a few in with chances and we will plump for Dance Spirit to make the most of this opportunity, with Samuel Charles an obvious danger and both Princely Ted and Pirouetting others with a squeak. Dance Spirit went well at Wolverhampton last time when just touched off and now that he has found some form this step up in trip should be in his favour. Samuel Charles is bang in form and carries top weight courtesy of a couple of wins and two seconds in his last four starts. He is 4lb higher than that last win, so he won't be far away at a track that he acts on. Princely Ted drops back in trip and is 5lb higher than when winning over 12f at Musselburgh last month. He has won over a mile last year, though he has a bit to prove dropping back to it now. Pirouetting represents Barry Hills and was rated 72 when winning his maiden at Sandown just over a year ago, but has not been able to score since being rated in the 70s in handicaps or Listed company. Today's mark of 68 still leaves him with a bit to do on the face of it, so he is opposed. Azreme would prefer to run on bottomless ground and Desert Island Miss is probably best of the rest but we prefer Dance Spirit.
