In depth

Verdict

Breath Of Blighty was very disappointing when tackling good ground at Warwick but Broughtons Rhythm ran very well over the track and trip last month when the ground was riding fast. Master Of Speed didn't enjoy heavy going when a short-priced favourite at Sandown in January and did much better at Fontwell last time when a close sixth. He would have nearly won with a clear run so has to be respected though the vote goes to CULTIVATOR. Nicky Henderson's charge landed an Ascot bumper on good going in October and wasn't suited by soft conditions in a very strong bumper at Newbury in March.
