Verdict

Tony Martin has three entries but Denis O'Regan's presence on board Improver suggests he could be better fancied than the penalised Clonalig House and the point-to-pointer Toor Present. The former has been inconsistent but the longer trip should be in his favour. Consharon Boy won a point in January and a Gowran bumper two months later so he's one to note despite a penalty, while Mai Fitzs Jack, a dual winner between the flags, ran out when leading in a Punchestown bumper last month. PAKMAN should have won by now and his third place behind Elusive Ivy in a strong handicap at the Punchestown Festival would be good enough for this so he's taken to finally get off the mark. There You Go and Free Scorpion are others to consider in a decent opener.
