In depth

Verdict

Alfraamsey completed a hat-trick on fast ground in the autumn before well beaten in a Listed event at Wetherby. He has plenty of weight to concede on his reappearance but should still be in the firing-line. Xenophon scored twice on quick ground in July and will be better for a recent run at Newbury while the ex-Irish Luggers Hall, though still a maiden, has been running quite well and looks reasonably treated. Dance For Livvy completed a hat-trick on the Flat and over hurdles at this time a year ago while Mahayogin is not out of this as he found 2m3f too far at Newbury last time. DARK SPIRIT is getting plenty of weight, loves fast ground and though well beaten by Tindaro at Stratford was having only her second start over timber after making a winning debut at Newton Abbot in September. She could just be good enough in a tight little race.
