In depth

Verdict

Most of these have shown some ability and a narrow vote is given to Opal Haze, Wicked Daze and Harry Tricker could provide most danger. John Gosden's filly was easy to back on her Yarmouth debut, but ran a decent race to finish a close up third behind Miss Marvellous. That appeared to be quite a strong contest and she should find this opposition a little less taxing. Wicked Daze has put in two solid efforts in handicaps since returning from a long break. He should be spot on for this but does have to give the selection plenty of weight. Harry Tricker showed he had improved over the winter when returning with an excellent third behind Walking Talking at Sandown. There could be more to come and he looks a banker for a place. However the stronger form looks to be held by Opal Haze and she is selected as the likely winner.
