Verdict

MILNE BOY can defy a penalty to win this handicap and he is taken to get the better of Towy Boy and Cool Sands. The selection hails from a yard in good form and the manner of his recent success suggests that a 6lbs penalty will not be enough to stop him. He encountered trouble in running that day but he got up in the shadows of the post and he was good value for his winning margin. Towy Boy was a little disappointing earlier in the week when he finished fifth behind Tangerine Trees at Wolverhampton. He may not have been suited by the steady pace in that race, but nonetheless it was a disappointing run. Cool Sands was well held last time but the return to this trip will suit and he has got course and distance winning form here. Tous Les Deux has also gone well here in the past and the draw is a big plus for him. Milne Boy looks to be on an upward curve and he is put forward as the pick.
