    Verdict

Titled Gent scored on his handicap debut over C&D and looks sure to make another bold bid despite an 8lb rise. AGERZAM also won over track and trip earlier this month and he's just preferred on his handicap bow as the runner-up Ferjaan has subsequently boosted the form with a win. Excel Yourself and Black Monk are both winners but look high enough in the weights now compared to The Art Of Racing, who won a maiden at York over 5f last month and has to come into the reckoning on that form.
