    Verdict

BOUNTIFUL BAY is given the nod here, while Bluebok looks a danger. The selection has a decent enough draw and likes to make or race up with the pace, so if she can get a good break then she has every chance of making all over this minimum trip. Bluebok is a likely favourite after landing a fast ground apprentice handicap at Goodwood last month and going up 3lb as a result. Milton Bradley's gelding is far from consistent though and this looks tougher. Desert Opal was a course and distance winner in September and held back here last time, but he has a good pitch and should be involved. Bishopbriggs drops back in trip after just being touched off at Wolverhampton last time and looks very competitive from the same mark. Edie Superstar is by no means out of this from a good draw and a decent mark, so watch the market where she is concerned, but preference here is for Bountiful Bay.
