In depth

Verdict

ENFANT DE LUNE gets the vote in the opener; Frontier Dancer and Make Haste rate as the main dangers. Alan King's 4-year-old has got some really useful flat form in France and he is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut. The yard are in good form and we put him forward to make a winning British debut. Frontier Dancer has got some decent bumper form but he was a little disappointing on his hurdling debut last time out when he finished fourth at Perth. However, he did run a bit green that day so there could be more to come and he has to be respected. Make Haste showed some promise at Aintree last month and he will handle the ground so he is another to consider. Into The Wild showed promise on his debut in a bumper but he has been disappointing on his two runs since then and he has a bit to prove at present. A competitive start to proceedings and the vote is given to Enfant De Lune.
