Angels Faces is arguably the pick of the weights in this on her third at Haydock but she’s shown her best form so far on soft ground and has shown little aptitude for the all-weather. Utopian Lad found only one too good over 1m here last time but dropping back a furlong may not be in his favour. Burniston Rocks might be helped by blinkers but makes his debut on the surface while Secret Diary was well beaten at Southwell after a third at Newcastle. Penmellyn is probably still improving but we’ll give another chance to CONSTITUTIONAL, who failed to cope with a 6lb rise at Newcastle after an earlier win at that track but could be suited by Polytrack.
