In depth

Verdict

A chance is taken with JEER although Resplendent Ace boasts solid claims as does Free Tussy. Jeer has been off the track since September when posting a fair effort at Pontefract. He has something to prove on the all-weather having failed to make the frame in three starts but he's well drawn, could improve for blinkers and is very well handicapped on a mark of 70 having been as high as 93 in the summer of 2008. Resplendent Ace isn't well treated but has a particularly good record here so can never be ignored whilst Free Tussy battled on well at Lingfield and has to be feared. Jennie Jerome has the ability to take a race of this nature from her current mark and should be effective here so she's yet another to consider whilst none of Given A Choice, Maria Di Scozia and Spring Goddess can be ruled out with any confidence but we're going to take a chance with Jeer.
