      Verdict

HAINES will no doubt be raised a lot more than the 6lb extra he carries today after dotting up by nine lengths over course and distance. Andrew Balding's charge is preferred to Angus Glens, who also won easily over 1m4f at Wolverhampton last week but is unproven over this longer trip. Greeleys Love has slipped down the weights but has yet to race over 2m while Sparkling Ice recorded her earlier double in plating company.
