In depth

Verdict

Ereka was beating horses rated even lower than this bunch when scoring over C&D in February and was well beaten last time, while though Rise To Glory popped up at 40/1 in soft ground at Newcastle recently it remains to be seen if he can reproduce that form here. THE BAY BANDIT is at least consistent and has gone close twice since scoring at Wolverhampton last month. He gets the token vote ahead of the three-year-old Songbird Blues, who ran into a place on a couple of occasions earlier this year. Mount St Mistress is worth noting with Kieren Fallon booked for her return to action.
