Verdict

John Dunlop can land the finale with TINKERBELLE; Den Maschine and Potemkin rate as the main dangers. The selection is a lightly-raced filly and she wasn't beaten far when third behind Excelsior Academy at Yarmouth last time. That filly goes in the 4.40 here today so the form could be boosted or otherwise, but nonetheless there should be more to come from our selection and she rates as a confident choice. Den Maschine is another unexposed type and he ran well when second behind Promise Maker at Ripon last time. He proved that day that this longer trip suits and Ollie Pears has his string in good form so he has to be on the shortlist. Potemkin looked in need of the run at Warwick last week and it is fair to assume he will come on for the outing as it was his first run since October. Tom Dascombe has been amongst the winners this week so Haafhd Time, who has hinted at ability on her last two starts, could go well at a price. However, this looks a good opportunity for Tinkerbelle to get her head in front.
