      Verdict

      A competitive field goes to post for this conditions event and their is very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Alderney Race, Pine Bay, and Obe Gold and the vote is given to Alderney Race. The selection won in good style when last seen beating Mahoom and if he is fit enough to do himself justice after a 226 day break he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Pine Bay rates the main danger he also won well last time out when beating Soul Dance that leaves him with a little to find but he could find the necessary improvement,. Obe Gold is another worthy of respect on his best form but he usually comes on for the first run of the season and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Acciacatura is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Alderney Race.
