Cabourg makes some appeal as does Over To You Bert but we'll focus our attention on Compulsion and Boy Dancer with the latter getting the nod. He has only raced once at this venue and that was almost a year ago to the day. He lined up on a 1lb higher mark over course and distance and only went down by three quarters of a length. He didn't show a great deal at Southwell last time but hasn't in two other visits there either; the run should have brought him on and he could run a big race. Compulsion has few miles on the clock and she stayed on strongly over 6 furlongs here last time when a couple of lengths behind Lindbergh. She should be sharper for the run and could improve sufficiently for the extra furlong to trouble the principals. Cabourg and Over To You Bert are two of several that are capable of getting involved but we'll give our support to Boy Dancer.
