        Verdict

        TROPICS never looked like catching the winner over C&D last time but finished six lengths clear of the rest of the field and that's good enough form to win an ordinary maiden. Kalokagathia went gone close over track and trip back in January but hasn't raced since June while improvement is expected from both Queen Of Skies and Ifan. The Gosden yard also run a couple of newcomers to consider in Pategonia, the half-brother to a Group 2 winner and Willow Beck, who has four winning relatives that include the useful pair Franklin Gardens and Polar Ben.
