Verdict

ERYSIMUM had indicated a victory was imminent with a very good run at Cork but few could have predicted a 17-length success in a Sligo maiden. The very testing conditions had an obvious effect and she has a penalty to carry but it's difficult to take her on here. Remarkable Lady wasn't beaten far in a Listed contest at Leopardstown in October so she should be winning soon while Gilded Reflection, a 185,000gns yearling, also ran well enough in her three starts to be respected. Baliyka is by Cape Cross out of a Group 3 winner while Madrugada is a half-sister to six winners including the top-class Alexander Goldrun.
