Verdict

KATEEVA won at this meeting a year ago and is the only C&D winner in the line-up. She's a massive 17lb higher this time but has continued to run really well and her genuine pace can see her home against opposition who may be tapped for speed. Pivotal Rock is the other course winner having won a 7f maiden a year ago and he can't be dismissed as he's now on his lowest ever handicap mark. Jump jockey Slippers Madden takes the ride on Shake The Bucket, whose three victories at Dundalk suggests he'll be at home on the sand though surely not over a trip this short as he started out in point-to-points. Cash Or Casualty attempted to make all over a mile at Dundalk last week and was only caught in the dying strides by Toufan Express. Both should go well but would be happier over further while Topadee would probably prefer another furlong though she showed good pace on her first start over this trip at the Curragh last time.
