Verdict

ROMEO'S ON FIRE won a much stronger handicap than this over the C&D a year ago and is an incredible 20lb lower this time. The obvious reason is his loss of form but his only victories have been on artificial surfaces and he's handed the vote to follow up last year's success. Buaiteoir started his carer in Ireland but is now with Amy Weaver at Newmarket and was beaten in a Wolverhampton seller in July while Fleeting Moment, though having some reasonable form at Dundalk, appears to need further nowadays. Jeangeorges has been running very poorly but does at least have a Polytrack succes to his credit and Daisy Mountain could pose a threat if getting a run from her reserve spot.
