      Verdict

George Baker has got his act together of late, notching back-to-back wins in apprentice races at Nottingham and Salisbury earlier this month. The latter was achieved under a penalty but George Baker's four-year-old has a further 7lb to carry here which may prove his undoing. Dhhamaan seeks to build on an unexpected return to form at Thirsk off a 5lb higher mark, while El Libertador finally lost his maiden tag at Wolverhampton last month. Jamie Spencer's mount needs more to follow up here, however. MOUNTRATH has never won on turf but has gone close on several occasions and is well treated on his best form. This drop in distance is a slight concern but he seems sure to run well. Chambers is also nicely handicapped now and can't be ignored.
