TRIXIE MALONE has been very shrewdly placed by the Burke team to record a hat-trick in an apprentice handicap and two fillies' handicaps, as a result of which she has only risen 12lb for that trio of victories, all under today's pilot. She has displayed a most resilient attitude to her work, scoring by half a length or less on each occasion and, with only eight runs under her belt at the age of four, retains scope for further progression. Kosika made all to score emphatically at Bath when landing a second career success in six starts and is an obvious danger. However, both wins came on ground with firm in the description for this improver and she's yet to run on anything worse than good to soft. Broughtons Charm remains in good form and completes the shortlist.
