    Verdict

    Dorfman gets first time blinkers after unseating his rider at Kempton in a race won by Blue Wave. His stablemate sluiced up at Pontefract during the week and will presumably go up by more than today's 5lb penalty once reassessed. Mark Johnston's colt looks the one to beat but RED RUNAWAY wasn't far behind the latter at Kempton when third on his reappearance and may be capable of turning the tables on better terms. Cafe Society made a winning debut at Wolverhampton in October and the betting may give the best clue to his chances on his return.
