Lord Lington is hard to oppose in his present mood and is taken to beat Simply Mystic and Predicament. David Wintle's six-year-old is currently at the top of his game, with victories at here and at Warwick. The success her came over fences, when he easily beat the useful Allumee by six lengths. Back over hurdles he still could be one step ahead of the handicapper and he gets a confident vote. Predicament came a cropper at Aintree last month, but was a game winner of his only hurdles race last season. He has to shoulder top-weight here but could be anything and has to be respected. Simply Mystic was a game and consistent performer last season and looks set to run his race again, he will be difficult to keep out of the places in this company. Haditovski is steadily improving and looks the pick of the others, but Lord Lington is expected to make it three in a row.
